Smoke Suppressants Synergist

Optimal Tech Co., Ltd. supply a wide range of halogen free flame retardant such as metal hydroxide flame retardant, smoke suppressant and synergist chemical of halogenated FR. Optimal Tech is authorized distributor of metal hydroxide flame retardant and smoke suppressant from Century Science & Technology Group, China. Also, we supply antimony trioxide (ATO) which is the synergist chemical of Halogenated flame retardant from Gredmann Group who is leading provider of antimony trioxide in the global flame retardant market.

Metal Hydroxide Flame Retardants are the commonly used family of Halogen Free Flame Retardants. These mineral compounds are used in polyolefins, TPE, PVC, rubbers, thermosets and can also be used in some engineering polymers such as polyamide. 

  • Alumina Trihydroxide - ATH (Al2O3)     : Suitable for processing temperature under 200°C.

  • Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2)         : Suitable for processing temperature exceeds 200°C

Smoke Suppressants


We supply Zinc Borate which is one multi-functional synergistic flame retardant in polymers to improve flame retardant performance, it can reduce smoke evolution and adjust the balance of flame retardant properties versus mechanical, electrical and other properties.


Our Zinc Borate is widely used in PVC applications such as carpet, conveyor belt, wire and cable, and in Nylon, polyolefin and engineering plastics. We have standard grade and smallest particle size for special applicates.



Synergist Chemical

Antimony trioxide (ATO) is the synergist acts to improve the activity of the additive in the polymer, thus lowering the amount of halogenated additive needed. ATO acts as a halogen shuttle bringing SbX3 into the vapor phase.

Silicone Based Flame Retardant

Optimal Tech Co., Ltd is the distributor of Momentive Performance Materials who is leading silicone manufacturing. They supply a wide range of industries including automotive, electronics, personal care, consumer products, aerospace and building and construction.


Our silicone flame retardant is a high viscosity silicone containing a combination of a linear silicone fluid and a silicone resin that is soluble in the fluid. It can be considered for polyolefins and thermoplastics use to help impart flame retardancy and anti-drip. It is a non-toxic FR additive whose synergistic property allows for lower loadings of non-Si additives, increases process ability, and improves mechanical properties. Also, silicone flame retardant offer is excellent flame retardant in PC with high miscibility to allow optical transparency in clear PC.
